Saying good-bye to 2007.....

Saying so long to 2007.....which I must say if 2008 is as good as 2007 then I say BRING IT ON! Scotty and I both changed jobs this year, both were for the better. I can now be at home with the boys at night and on most weekends, Scotty is finally getting the pay that he works so hard for.

Braxton adjusted to daycare and although he took he precious sweet time on the potty training, he has mastered it. Course with him everything is on his own terms, you can beat him, threaten him, bribe him, chase him, restrain him, love him, kiss him, hug him, and no matter what else you could possibly think to do to him to get him to do something....he isn't gonna do it until he wants to!

From conception (some of the best things aren't planned) to his birth (almost 8 weeks early weighing in at 3lbs 10oz) to cleaning his room (still waiting on this to happen!)

I would like to say that 2007 helped us both understand each other better (he just might get some of his hardheadedness from me), he has matured quite abit and SOMETIMES he plays well with others! Since I am using SOMETIMES loosely we aren't ready to clean off the pantry where all the weapons aka toys that he has used to hit someone with have retired to. (and on behalf of Braxty-boy, if Tre-Bob or JT is reading this then.... Braxton is SORRY) Even with all the choas this little child likes to create, Braxton is a good boy!

As for Hoss, he learned to play little league baseball, although loved T-ball, it did not take him long to see that with practice and patience he did pretty good through out the season. Even though strep-throat and tonsillitis found him every couple of months, he did very good with his tonsillectomy, I was very proud of his bravery leading up to the surgery. His reading has gotten a lot better, the whole practice and patience thing paid off again. We still have to work on slowing down and reading every word in the sentence. Even though he hasn't mastered the whole HEELYS thing, again practice and patience come in to play, but he refuses to put them back on....something about he almost died trying to skate with them in the kitchen or something...which I think he would of been okay...of course unless he knocked the pantry over...all those weapons....it would NOT of been pretty! And Hoss, he is a good boy too!

So Scotty and I are still trying to figure out what we are going to do to ring in the NEW YEAR....Nana has offered to keep the boys if we wanted to go out...she also offered to have us come spend the night and hang out....(she also promised to bring her cell phone to bed with her so if I needed to get up and pee...she would help me get out of that bed which is full of air...which is fine except the air in that bed HATES MY GUTS!)

Then there is the whole new years resolutions thingy...of course lose weight being at the top of the list, budgeting money better, and being less of a procrastinator. Oh well I have another day to worry about those! (see I should probably move the whole procrastinator thingy up on my list, but I can do that tomorrow I guess!)

My luck nothing exciting or blog worthy will happen tomorrow so just in case I don't get a chance to tell ya again..HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here are a few New Year Wishes for you....May your year be FULL.....your belly, your heart, your wallet, your gas tank, your ice trays, your toilet paper roll, may every thing you need be with in reach, and may your also find things running on EMPTY...your laundry hamper and the part of your brain that makes you worry! For everyone I wish them happiness, and at least once a day I hope you find a reason to act retarded or laugh at your self! Life is way to short act like you have a corn cob stuck up your butt....because chances are...eventually that corn cob is gonna find its way out...and unfortunately I don't think it will be pretty!

HAPPY 2008!!!!!
