Well today was a heckuva Monday, work was awful....just awful. Can anyone tell me why folks (employees) act a fool all weekend, so you are welcomed by an angry MOB first thing Monday morning?
I was soooooo excited it was about 15 minutes until quitting time, and then I got a call from a loving family member of one of our precious residents, whom said call me when you leave town, I just got done with supper, and since it's Monday and the last thing you want to do is go home and cook, I made enough for your family as well. How freaking sweet is that? Why don't I think to do sweet things like that? Like Mrs 4444 she is writing thank you notes to folks standing in the cold, directing traffic so everyone's kiddos makes it safely to school. (and go read her post for today....gotta give to those teachers, especially special needs teachers like her and Christy)
Anyway I left work, called Scotty told him how nice Connie was to make us supper and that after picking up Braxty-boy, I was to meet her then I would be home, so to look for me in about an hour. Well I got to the daycare to pick up Braxty-boy and noticed his pants were on backwards...which is not all that unusual for him (he is forever putting his underware on backwards because he likes looking at spider-man...opposed to sitting on him) So I said "why are you pants on backwards?" he replied "Because you did it to my pants today, you got them on me backwards!" I seriously wanted to freaking die!!!
Please let tomorrow be better....not just for me Lord....but for Braxty-boy as well!!!!

You're so sweet; thanks for the plug! I wrote the notes for real and put them in the mailboxes this morning. One of the ladies told me it was the perfect way to start her week. It only took me about 10minutes to write three notes :) and it was well worth it!

Well I doubled checked his pants this morning....I swear I am such a dork....but moments like theese...they are memories too right? LOL just probably the ones my kiddos will want to forget.

I used to do that for my daycare mommies - I'd make up extra and send dinner home with whoever walked in the door looking particularly pathetic and exhausted that particular night.
Now if only someone would notice when I'm looking particularly pathetic and exhausted......
